I dont work the night shift anymore but when I DID it TOTALLY SUCKED I was ALWAYS thinking that I just DONT get enough sleep during the day.

Try using a scented EYE PILLOW to help relax you. while using it think of a time and place where you were the MOST happy and Content, then try to relax into that feeling. hopefully you will relax enough to fall asleep.
