i had quite a good day at work yesterday (all 12 hours of it). i majored in politics and economics, with a minor in asian studies, and it's just circumstance that led me to work at a newspaper. but i really do enjoy it. i am the connection between editorial and the press and/or the internet. it's kind of weird to work at a fairly conservative paper, but what i've found is most people who work there are not conservative, so it's not a hostile environment at all. it's just our wonderful readers who demand republicanism. it even appears that they are backing off from neoconservatism, which gives me a little hope. it's refreshing to see the occasional letter to the editor written by someone who has a firm grasp on reality. people really should write more letters to editors, if only in an attempt to balance out the inane babble of the wingnuts.

anyhow, another day, another song. i wrote this in january, i think. again, this is still without music, so i guess it's more appropriate to call it lyrics, but whatever.
