ok so most of you who read this know that i'm a hairdresser... i'm doing a little bit of research into salon service prices and was wondering if you'd help me out...?

what i need to know is what you think is a reasonable price for:
a) haircut for a girl
b)haircut for a guy
c)hair colouring eg. all over colour, 1/2 head foils, full head foils etc.

what you consider to be short hair, medium hair and long hair?

i guess my reasoning behind this is that alot of people seem to have an idea of what is too expensive, but never say what they think is reasonable...and often don't mention how they have come to this conclusion, either way.

now, i know some of you cut and/or colour your hair yourselves and i'd love to hear your reasoning behind that(eg, stylists don't listen or don't do what you ask, etc) but i'm aiming to hear from those of you who DO have your hair done professionally.

so having said all that, i'm curious to know your thoughts
