had a great night last night... things didn't go totally to plan but i still really enjoyed the night.
first i went shopping for some ingredients for the dinner i was planing to cook for Andy. i got into a cab and went to his house where he met me at the door with kisses. i cooked up a storm in his very minimalist kitchen (minimalist because he is a VERY simple cook...he hasn't a very well stocked kitchen in the way of utensils/cookware...). he said my chicken carbonara was delicious
we were supposed to go see Alice in Wonderland after dinner but we were both kinda tired and there was some trouble with ordering the tickets online so we decided instead to stay in and watch The Wizard of OZ, on tv (Andy knows of my love for musicals). all in all it was a nice night in. i'm a little disappointed that i didn't get to see the movie but i think i may go on m own tomorrow and see it anyways.
i stayed at his house last night and got woken up at 4.45am in the usual way... gentle little kisses up my arm to my face. he seems not even to care about my morning breath lol. he dropped me home on his way to work (he starts around 5.30 most mornings) so i could get a few more hours sleep before we met for lunch at the sushi station. i can't believe he loves sushi as much as i do. it was $2 plate day and it was nice tho so many things had avocado in it... i kept having to order mine fresh with no avo... allergies suck!
after lunch we came back to my place, where for once my housemates were BOTH out! we snuggled for a little while and had a nap, and then it was time for Andy to go back to work. i spent the next hour or so napping some more then got up to have some dinner and got ready to go see petey's band play their very first ORIGINALS set. its great to see them play their own music. tho i enjoy their covers gigs, i hope they continue to play more oroginal shows. they seemed to get a good response to their music. lots of cheering and clapping and not just from our crowd either! the bar manager seemed quite impressed and danced for most of the show!
because i spent most of my day asleep, i'm not really tired tho i really should be. my sleep patterns are all over the shop and i really need to sort that out but not tonight. i kinda feel like i need to start the painting that i've had sketched up for months now. it will probably turn out to be a gift. i'm too self conscious to try to sell my paintings but i always feel ok about giving them as gifts. or i keep them because i have big seperation anxiety lol. a while ago i wrote out a list of goals to complete before the year was out... displaying my paintings was on that list. it didn't happen last year. perhaps it will happen this year... who knows?
shooting a set for SG was another thing on that list. i'd really like to do this but am still trying to decide on a theme or idea for it. Brigi kindly offered to shoot for me, ages ago, and i will have to ask her nicely if her offer still stands. then there is tackling the subject with andy... i'm not sure how he will take the idea of me being naked on the internet. i care what he thinks and don't want to create problems with us when we are still so 'new' but i also want to do this while i'm still young. i'd love to have sexy photos of myself to look back on when i'm older. i think i'd regret it later on in life if i didn't do it while i still look ok.
hmm... i feel a new list of goals coming on... perhaps i'll post them later. i'll need to think on it a bit more for now tho.
anyways, sleep well and sweet dreams to you all in SG land. g'nite.
