Today started off horrible...my idiot best friend some how almost drove her car into my house last night( completely sober). IDK how in the hell she did it, but her tires were bare as hell, and she got her stuck in my yard, so I had to take her home. Well, she wakes me up today and asks me to come get her, and I tried her car again, thinking since the ground had dried that maybe I had a chance of getting it out. No such luck. So she calls a tow truck, and sends him out my way. Well he gets there before she does, and he's ringing my doorbell asking me what to do. I tell him it's not my car. She accidentally calls me, and I hear her talking shit about me, so I open the door and put my phone on speaker. She looks at me and starts to apologize, and I just slam the door, leaving her in the cold( yes I was that BIG of a bitch). Well she gets her car unstuck, and tries to get me to talk about her. I don't text back. She leaves and I go in my room and calm down. It's not every day you catch your friend talking shit about you. So my kids sleeping...ends of sleeping until 5 PM and is still snoozing away. I end up waking her and decide I want to go to Nashville and eat and shop. So I call her dad and ask him to come with. Violet was in an incredible mood. She was real low key and quiet. At first I thought something was wrong. I guess she was just having one of those lazy days where you want to just sleep all day. I shower and put makeup on. I get her all cuted up, and we all get in the car to go. The ride there was very pleasant. She slept most of the way. We got to the mall, and I headed to Therapy Systems to get some face and hair product. Then it was off to M.A.C for makeup. Then I went to The Body Shop to get some yummy oils to burn and redeem my birthday coupon. Then to Teavana to get some tea. Next to Buckle for a few cute shirts. Then Sephora for a butt-load of makeup. Then lastly to Betsey Johnson for a purse, socks, earrings, necklace, and a dress for the Lady Gaga concert. After all that we went to P.F Changs to eat. Violet was SO freaking well behaved it was uncanny!! On the way home she sang and watched a dvd. I made a pit stop at Walmart to get "Love and Other Drugs," Burlesque," and "Bambi" so I'd have something to watch tonight. Violet proceeds to play with a new lego truck I got her at Walmart, and I dye my hair blue black. I even waxed my eyebrows and painted my nails. Now she's in bed watching "Bambi" and winding down, and I'm in the basement having a low fat carrot cake cupcake and Diet Pepsi. The day ended up being great to say the least! I always love going to this particular mall! It has the best store, and I haven't got to go in peace in what seems like FOREVER! Now if only she would fall asleep so I could get ready for bed. We have her physical therapy in the AM.
BTW the new Lykke Li album is fantastic!! Sounds a little different than her usual stuff, but very good! Today was my mom's 46 birthday. She put on her facebook that she was 28 today. Funny, I'll be 28 in 27 days, so I guess she's pleading the 5th on being a mother to an "older" child(my sister is 19). Anyways I hope everyone else had a rockin' day and I hope the same goes for today!! Hopefully things are finally starting to look up for a change!
