So I didn't get the "ass kicking" job, but I got a different one, which fits in nicely with my study schedule, so that's fine. Plus the store discount don't suck either.
That being said, I'm exhausted today, and I was only there for six hours. I think it's because all I could afford to buy for lunch was a cookie and a soda from Subway. But no matter, I'm going to make the world's most awesome and delicious Spaghetti Bolognaise tonight, so we're sweet.
I'm getting more and more pissed off as the day's roll by that the Socceroos qualifying matches (for the World Cup) aren't getting shown on free-to-air TV. It sucks a large amount of rotten wang, and makes me frown. Oh, how I wish I had cable.
Still looking for houses. We (being me and my live-in lover) applied for a place near both of our places of employment, but we're waiting to here back. There were TONS of applicants. We're on the short-list I think, but oh oh oh how I want it. The price and such is perfect, and it's almost a brand-new place. Of course, because it's so perfect, we won't get it. Sorry, I was born this cynical.
I'm in love with the idea of buying a new MacBook with my tax refund. I'd like a MacBook upgraded with 4GB of RAM + a 250GB HDD. Also, a new iPod. But we'll see how much I get back. I've never used a Mac full-time before, so I might not want one? Meh, someone convince me.
