Calling it "problematic on so many levels," a website devoted to African women has criticized Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 5 for racism. The charge is based on RE5's E3 trailer which depicts a white man shooting hordes of black people who have been turned into zombies.
Well What ABout resident evil 1-3 where everywhite person on the planet who was infected with the t-virus was being shot and killed.
or what about resident evil 4 where spaniards, where infected by the virus and turned in rampaging psychos and they were being offed one by gruesome one. no complaints there.
the world is going mad & people who take political correctness to far are at the front of the que.
For all their focus on gore galore, zombie movies have traditionally been rife with social commentary and allegory. George Romero's Living Dead series of films have touched on terrorism, class warfare, rampant commercialism, and in the original Night of the Living Dead, race relations.
It is absurd and insulting to everyone to suggest this game is in anyway being designed to teach anyone to hate black people."

in response to your blog, i agree on the amount of social awareness zombie movies portray, one of the many reasons i love em, and its completely absurd for someone to freak out about zombies that happen to be black being shot in a video game, no race is immune from zombieism and really it's more racist to think only white people can become zombies
