24 hours to go. The bird I painted for my portfolio is still not dry. I sorta forgot that oil takes a while so now I am reworking it in acrylics, did I ever tell you how much I hate acrylics? Considering I have been painting in oils for ever (although until this year there was a 15 year break) I cannot seem to figure out how to use these fuckin acrylics, I keep working the paint like oil and it dries out ugggghhhhh
anyway. everything is done but for my bird. I hope the oil dries by tomorrow so I won't have to submit the 2nd version

Acrylics suck. I took a painting class a few years ago at Community College and bought the acrylics cuz they were cheaper. I painted a series of kinda crappy paintings... and last year my mom found one of them behind the couch and hung it on the wall!
