It's finally live! My set of the effervescent Hannalisa, "Lo-Lee-Ta".
Why the title? After all, we didn't shoot this as a tribute set. To me, it became obvious during the editing process. In this set, that's simply who Hannalisa is, no question about it.
I read Nabokov's "Lolita" before I even reached the eponymous heroine's age, and then once again when I was older. Both times, I was smitten, fascinated with Lo.
I found myself experiencing the same sense of fascination when going through these images. To me, Hannalisa embodies the wicked innocence of those "nymphets" Nabokov venerates on the pages of "Lolita". Beautiful, with a tinge of that sugarsweet corruption that sends shivers up my spine.
See for yourself, here, and leave us lots of comment love if you dig it.
"Humbert was perfectly capable of intercourse with Eve, but it was Lilith he longed for." - Nabokov, "Lolita".
