Burnt Offerings BBQ
Spent the last several Evenings developing the Business and Marketing plans fro this Competition BBQ Team I am partners in. We have some fun, drink a lot, and make a little money. We are known to be one of the upper elision teams and often do quite well when we compete. We sell our products at the events and theres this strange satisfaction in turning people on to something tasty. And of course the trill of victory.
The Big Event for us this year is The Harpoon Championship of New England Barbecue .
Two years ago we finished 2nd overall.
If you finish first in an event of this caliber you get an automatic invite to the Jack Daniels World BBQ Championship.
I like to believe I have the best of both worlds during the day its down and dirty at the BBQ and at night I stay at this Bed and Breakfast who has their own resident Welsh Corgis
On the menu;
We do a Carolina Style BBQ Pork. Its dry rubbed smoked and slow-cooked up to 18 hours, then hand-pulled. As an Entre or on a Classic Kaiser Corn Meal Dusted Roll it is unbelievable.
Kansas City Baby Back Ribs, pork ribs smoked and lightly slathered, cut individually.
And for the Vegans among us we offer our Bodacious BBQ Beans and Carolina Cole Slaw. The Slaw is my own personal recipe.
This Pig is actually a Friend of a Friend. No Pork was Harmed in the making of these Photos. The little guy is alive and well living in the lap of Luxury.
