THE FRIDAY SALON

Please join us for our very first Friday salon. In the tradition of
Mabel Dodge Luhan's famous American Salon in her Fifth Ave. apartment,
where "ladies with bobbed hair and mannish cut garments" sat alongside
men in evening dress and workmen's clothes...

We invite you to bring published and unpublished works to read, all
other topics remain up for discussion. We've invited members of the
literary community, writers, artists and attempted artists,
ex-bohemians, post-feminists, and even a couple kids from
Williamsburg.

Luhan's salons were based on a mutual interest in the arts and a
growing disdain for the social and sexual restrictions of the era...
take this comment as you wish.

Please pass on to others of literary importance or particular social disdain.
