Everything you know is a lie. We are the children of the Great Lie. From birth, we have been lied to. As kids, we're told of a Magical world of toothfaries, easter bunnies, and Santa Claus. The world is filled with wonder. Then one day, you find a bunch of toys in Mom's trunk, and think "who're those for?" And, on Christmas morning, there they are. A bit of the wonder in you dies that day. Slowly, you start to uncover other aspects of the lie. There is no tooth fairy, no easter bunny, no god...
As you grow up, the lie is revealed bit by bit. Be good to people, and they'll be good to you, when mostly they just shit in your heart. Love conquers all! Not really... You can be anything you want to be! Right.
Then you enter the workforce, and the old lies are replaced with new ones. work hard, get ahead! We can work it out. We can still be friends. Enter the media. A shadowy world of bias, greed, and the spawning ground of the Great Lie. All most of us will ever know is what THEY tell us. On the news, in our churches, in the White House press room. We are forcefed THEIR answers and THEIR beliefs. And, if you disagree, one way or another, THEY'll burn you at the stake. So, think for yourself, rattle those chains, but be ready for a shitstorm. Seek truth, not just answers. Fuck am I depressed.
