For almost the past four years I've been doing a PhD called the Erotics of Comics, which despite the title, is not about erotic comics. No it's about ta erotikon, or the deisre/pleasure derived from making and beholding comics (or any art). In short, an analysis of why anyone would spend weeks, months and years (in my case) making something for others to enjoy or be stimulated from in some way. What you ladies do on SG is similar: you get a lot of pleasure out of making your sets; you get pleasure at looking at other sets and then there's the subsidiary pleasure of the community. I'm at the very tail end of this journey and have made a lot of new work (and writing) as a part of it, so... for your viewing pleasure, here are some of the things I've made.
