Well I hope you don't have any regrets about moving here. It's not a city for everyone, but there IS something for everyone, if you know where to go. Although I'm not the best one to talk to about that stuff, since I never get out. Damn job.

Anyway, once you get a bus pass the city will pretty much open up to you. There's almost nowhere you can't get on a bus... that is assuming you're willing to sit still for that long.

By, "Not for everyone," all I mean is that while PGH is kick ass and all, it's a lot of things that some people aren't into, and lacking a lot of things they are. Like me, I'm not into sports at all, and PGH is very sports oriented. It's also very artsie, but you rarely hear about that. One thing that it lacks, and the locals will have no problem telling you about this... over and over... is the lack of concert venues. People love to focus on what they don't have, rather than support what they do. It's also lacking in certain jobs just because there's so many schools that teach the same things and the market is flooded with job seekers and no jobs for them... I could go on and on with the Pro's and Con's, but I don't get out enough to do so fairly.

Personally, I like Pittsburgh, but I've been here too long. I just need to live somewhere new within the next year or so, just because that's how I am. But, while I'm here, anything I can do to help you out I'd be more than happy to do.
