I have to resit that theory cause I failed the hazard perception
um...my employers are cunts
the 9 *should* be finished and on it's way to me in around a fortnight, and while I should really start buying gear for a rig I can safely use the 9 with I've decided I'll have an 8 stringer built.
I emailed the luthier and he seemed happy enough to do it at first but after he heard my list of demands he wasn't so keen, he seemed kind of pissed off really so I changed it around a bit.
I'm currently on the lookout for a tonewood that I can get him to use that he's happy with, alot of the stuff I've suggested so far has had him replying "not a chance". Right now he's suggested zebrawood but I'm not so sure...
/hopes drella or maybe annalee might suggest something I haven't thought of.
um, I finally cleaned the lens on my camera phone and woah it looks great. For a while I thought the camera was just bad with lighting but it turns out it was a bit dirty so I'm happy about that.
I'm going to apply to a joiners apprenticeship in Fife, it only pays 72 a week though, it's with the council so I'm hoping I'll get a couple of perks thrown at me.
I don't really think there's much else to talk about, I'll probably update a bit after the 9 arrives, later

i looked at zebrawood when i was coming up for the spec for my guitar, it is pretty cool, though you cant go wrong with ash, it has such a nice grain and gives a good tone, a real woody sound!

Got my theory test on tuesday :-) Supposed to have my head stuck in the theory test book this weekend but have been a lazy bastard. Have you got a bike picked out yet for when you pass?
