So it would seem I'm staying at home for Hogmany this year...
After seeing the Dermatologist I won't be back on Accutane, at least not for another year. Good news? It does not feel that way to me...The plus side being that I now know that it does not effect me badly so if I ever get acne again (highly unlikely) I won't hesitate to acquire Isotretoin (the active in Accutane).
Also the doctor I saw was really awesome, I talked to her about the mental side-effects I've had with Accutane and she told me a few things I already knew and asked about if I had any ambitions. I explained that I'm interested in Sports Bio-Medicine and she told me about someone she knows who studied it and now travels all over and meets great people, at which point I said "...okay then /" and laughter ensued. She could've been lying but it doesn't matter, I've never had someone tell me what I want is worthwhile or obtainable.
My interest in growth factors continues and I'm finally getting around to reading "Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism", a book my sister-in-law pointed to and stated that she could not understand most of it. The fact she is a chemistry teacher (that wants to be a guidance teacher) kind of kills a lot of the meaning in her statement to me...
Tomorrow I start a supplement log, I've heard acne is one side-effect of the product so that's something I will keep an eye on. Other than that I'm looking forward to regular workouts, meals and of course the health and visual benefits. I'll be training for strength this year, highland games being an idea in my head for the future as it looks like a lot of fun.

It would be a nice thought to get that far.
