After consulting my Alias Change Consultant I decided I would change my previous alias of Dubhglais to bigpauly696969, I think it reflects my attitude and ego, plus it makes me feel all fluffy inside and well 'ard on the outside.
And have now changed it to Angus, auch aye!
I've got issues with peoples issues with other people, so not to be hypocritical I'll leave it at that.
Today I went to the gym with my usual training partner (whom doesn't actually train with me, go figure) and a friend who has a heart attack or at least a stroke due anytime soon, he had been trying to tell me and others that most of his mass is muscle [enter hysterical laughing here] and so I challenged him to match whatever I could do in the gym.
I decided I would do deadlifts first, simply because I knew there would be no chance of him being able to do it which I went on to prove. Next I moved onto bicep curls which again I proved him the lesser of the two of us, finally moving onto incline bench press which he managed to keep up with me at.
The workout itself was shit and there were too many bald guys with sloppy technique flailing their arms about but it looks like my friend wants to go back again so maybe he's not the (heart) failure I thought he would be.
I also had a job interview for a Night-Shift Baker position, Monday to Friday-Midnight to 9am and while I really need the money right now I just don't think I could work there.
Firstly the place reminds me what having no future prospect looks like, secondly the Manager asked me
"How do you think you would manage without a social life?" to which I respond
"Well, it shouldn't be too bad seeing as I'll have the Saturday off". He then goes on to tell me that I'll probably be working 6 nights a week, every week. After doing Safeway/Morissons night shift I know that anymore than 5 nights a week constantly is overkill so I doubt I'll be accepting the job if he gives me it. Besides, I can't guarentee I wouldn't eat all the pies.
So, I'm in urgent need of a job or to be more specific the money that would come from doing a job. On the plus side I've potentially saved the NHS money that would've been spent on reviving my fat friend and I've decided I'll be trying to get back into college this year, either to get Highers or if I can- blag my way into an HNC. I'm still not sure where to study but I'm sure as my options dissapear I won't have to make a desicion.
If you've read this far you have my sympathy, if you've just cut straight to the end then leave a random comment and I'll take note to enrole you in a Reading for Adults class which doesn't contain pictures.
Until the next time.
