Not gonna sugar coat it...it was the most painful thing I ever experienced. And I had complications and kinda almost died. The worst part was getting up to walk for the first time, getting the staples ripped out, and not being able to take a shit haha!

I'm sorry to read about that. Unfortunately people are in many cases assholes. They think they are so perfect and much better than everyone else. But hey keep thinking positive and remember if they didn't bother to think about you just because you happen to be in a wheelchair, you've dodged a bullet and someone that can only see people from their outside and not bother to know them at all. Keep looking and I'm sure you'll find someone that really appreciates you and doesn't care about the wheelchair.
