today was interesting.
guy from accident yesterday morning was dead kinda sad to think that a random person you see everyday around the neighborhood is dead and i saw him just lying there and didn't bother to stop (as though i could do anything about it). just called 911 and went on my way. too little too late i suppose. they closed a lane of traffic i wonder if it was cleaned up before the little kids went to school. the picture on the news and in the paper showed him covered up. do children know what it is under the yellow tarp? probably not but i do so that has been playing on my mind today the confirmation of what i felt when i drove by and saw him laying in the road, playback is obscured by memory and at times far grizzlier than at first sight.
my first real call was for a leak i was ready to reroute when we found that it was just an extremely long loop so the 2300 repipe turned into a 500 repair oh well this was followed up by a trip to hustler hollywood.
i must say this job was strangely awkward. trying to talk to the female store manager while she stood next to a large glass dildo makes for an embarrassing experience to say the least. eye contact became even weirder cause i didn't wanna feel like some deviant staring her in the eyes but if they moved i'd find something else. trying not to smile too much or completely laugh out loud as i set my invoice down on a discarded sex doll box, are you fucking kidding me? needless to say i found an excuse to go back tomorow. no i didn't make one up. the filters in the machine were plugged all to hell and the evap coil was a solid block of ice (looking much like one of those old freezers). gotta go back tomorrow put a new set of filters and clean the coils yadda yadda yadda go into the furnace room rest my tools on the lifelike polysomethingorother vagina with lifelike blonde pubes display box and try not to laugh my ass off.
