Alright.
Tonight marks the end of my week and a half long term over celebration.
An A in Psychology and C in Psych and Film are all well and good, but I still don't know my grade in English 1A and the school website is down for a week. I'm almost positive I got no less than a B.
Party over. I already started applying for jobs on Monday.
It finally dawned on me that I could get a job doing something I WANT TO DO instead of just what I know (cafes, Starbucks in particular) and so I applied at all the local photography studios that provide on the job training.
One or two actually sounded interested.
I'm jumping out of my skin hoping they'll call.
I would do almost anything to ensure a job with photography.
I'll scrub the studio. I'll walk your dog. Just teach me everything you know and let me take some photos and you can put me to work in the mines the rest of the shift, I don't care.
I know I would be an amazing employee because I would get to take pride in my work.
No longer selling coffee. >.<
I tried to communicate this to two of the managers without sounding *too* crazy.
I'm ok with sounding a little crazy, as long as I sound capable and enthusiastic at the same time.
Just give me a job. Give me hours. Train me thoroughly, then set me free and I swear I will dazzle you.
P.s.
Need to start going back to the gym.
I let it slip away during school chaos..
But I need to get it back in my grips.
Oddly, I fell lax on the gym, I've been eating nothing but crap (and cooking these huge elaborate dinners for myself and friends recently) but I'm feeling very good about my body recently.
Probably his fault.

And doesn't the summer job search just suck!?
Good luck! I hope you get one at a photo studio, that would be awesome!
