I missed the first band as well, they were playing as we were going through the line. They sounded more rap/hip-hop than anything close to RATM, or even Audioslave for that matter.
It was strange seeing NIN while there was still daylight outside and kind of disappointing not seeing any of the same light show from their last tour (Lights In The Sky) which was completely amazing to me. Other than that, it was great to hear some rare songs played and to see Jane's Addiction live again, although they didn't play anything from Strays
