A week spent in rhetoric. Pouring over Cicero, Isocrates, Plato et al...it's been interesting. The great and lost art of beautiful communication which we traded in for the natural sciences, cold gray truth and utilitarianism. Given the options our choices are nearly always disappointing.

I had some graphic design work for a new bar opening in Brighton. it hasn't been signed off by the client yet so this is "work in progress". It's for a trendy type bar so this is a trendy type logo.
It's getting pretty odd insofar as I've now designed a lot of the artwork for the bars in Brighton; it looks like a quasi-gallery of my own!

And I finally got around to putting up a music myspace for my tunes. It's pretty annoying because I've had to edit most of them for file size but it would be cool if anyone wants to have a look and let me know what you think. I figured they're better up there than sitting around on my computer hard drive.

Oh I want to be surrounded by mountains, lakes and shinto shrines. Yes though I liked FP, MM is infinitely more wonderful in comparison so far. I'm just up to 'News From Yalta' so quite near the start but it's so great. I haven't read Crime and Punishment yet but I loved The Devils and The Idiot so I will soon. So many books, so little time...I wish reading and walking about watching birds were all I had to do sometimes.
