So yesterday (Sunday) I went over to my Grandmothers for brunch because my cousin just had her third baby and it was my Grandma's birthday last Thursday.
In any event a few of us grand kids are going to hold our annual "beard off" starting on the 17th. The rules are simple, as of the 17th of October anyone that wishes to participate in the content must not shave his/her beard until Christmas where a panel of judges (usually my mother and my aunts) get to announce the best beard.
I think this year we are all going to floss the flannels and go hang out near the train yards too. We will fit in better down there once the contest is nearing the end.
On another note, I may not be able to join this competition because I may be serving in the National Guard soon. Hopefully I will find out more from the recruiter today.
