It's a long, complicated story. But basically it was given to me by the guy I consider to be my dad, he was a really positive influence in my life when I was kinda screwed up a couple of years ago, and he's really a mentor to me. The bullet was left to him by a friend of his, they served in the Marines together and that bullet actually would have killed my dad, had his friend not saved him. The guy took the bullet and carried it with him til the day he died, then left it to my dad. He told him to give it to someone worthy of it or wear it til the day *he* died. so I got it. And all the responsibility that goes with it. eek.
