So i had a blast and got to meet more cool SG people on Friday night and i even ate raw fish! ewww.....
My show opened last night. Yesterday was crazy with all the last minute costume details i needed to finish. BIG thanks to Firetalon2000 for the burnt fingers!
And even with all the extra work i wasn't impressed. I got all the congradulations and good work from everone but in the end i was not happy with the way it turned out. I usually am not 100% happy with the end product but thats just me. But on this show i really felt like i failed. And there really isn't anything to do about it.
i have another big show in June but my current asshole boss announced that if i decide to do it i wil be fired. I really want to leave that job anyway cause they treat me like dirt, but i can't seem to find anything else that i can afford to take. If i do the show i will miss a week of work. I was trying to come up with some kind of an excuse to get out of work that week with out telling them what it was really for. But i guess my confidence is a little shaken right now. Not sure if its worth it.....
