Hope is alive and well with our wonderful new president!
But unfortunately for California, hope is dying.
I thought i left behind the racism and discrimination when i left the south, but i see its alive and well right here.
Makes me disgusted to live in California!!

I feel like a doll that has fallen off a shelf and shattered. People keep coming by and trying to put the pieces back together but they are all in the wrong place and i can't figure out how to walk on my hands......

What a difference a year makes!!
While our economy, both our countries and my own, are worse off than they were this time last year, the friends that i have made have brought enough light into my life to blind me. I wouldn't have make it through without many of them.
