Okay, so let's pretend: It's 1995, we're in high school and every punk I know writes for some 'zine. I'm not to be left out:
Woah, totally stoked, oh em gee. Scene report, fuckerzzzz. Ted Leo just kicked off his new tour at the TLA in Philllllllyyy. Love and Perish opened the show like a bunch of Paul Green School of Rock rejects. Nah, I'm totally kidding! They rocked my face in a severe punkorz way. Next was Love of Diagrams, so amazing. The old heads may recall Th' Faith Healers mixed with a dash of Sonic Youth. Then with the smooth style of punker/indie boy Ted can only bring, the Pharmacists played a non-stop hour and a half set. Fan-fucking-tastic. Great show, now go catch him while he's on tour! Rockerz!
Eh-hem. The rest of the week was a little milder with the exception of going out to Sugar Mom's last night with friends. Happy weekend!
my favorite 'zines that I swore by were HeartAttack from Seattle and UnderDog from Chicago. You?
