Woot! The internets have returned to my home. In honor of this prestigious event, here is another observation to sink your tasty brains into:
Complacency:
If life is what happens while you are making plans, then does life not happen if you are not making plans?
Are you happy with your job or with your school? Are you happy with your partner? Are you content just keeping things cool and not rocking the boat?
Fuck you. It does not matter how far you have traveled or what insurmountable obstacles you have overcome. You fail once you reach the pleasant point of comfortable stagnation. You can pick back up at any time, but you will find yourself that much further behind where you want to be when you do.
A simple inquiry: In our anthropological evolution, we used out brains at first for hunting and foresting. Current day usage does not require this to the extent of basic survival. Survival is now centered on the comprehension of observed information and interaction coupled with the applied usefulness of that which is comprehended. If you do not grow, then you will not survive. So what are you doing with that big tasty brain?
A couple of years ago, in a moment of eloquent clarity a seven year old girl told me, "ZB [ed.], you forgot to turn your brain on." Nothing has quite been the same since. Maybe you should give it a try.
Why wait? What possible reason do you have to put your life on hold? Do something, and then find a way to do it even better. If it makes you nervous trying something new, then it is probably the right thing for you to do. Even small improvements and small goals are worthwhile. Get up, get out, teach yourself something you can use every day, practice a bar trick, drop out of school and find a better education, learn how to fucking juggle, read a text book, write a story, create a new piece of art, shut your whining mouth and do something for yourself.

I'm growing believe me, otherwise i'd go nuts. I know the type to whom you speak, and I am that type on some days.....so times dumb myself down with meds to numb myself down....... feeling better.
I on't write this weekend , I'll paint. It'll be worse than my poetry, but messier.
I fucking love bad brains!!!
