I just got back from Connecticut; great place, nice people. It was my sister's boyfriend's father's 70th surprise birthday party, and he's a musical genius. He teaches music at Hartford, and we were talking for an hour about how music today is such bullshit, and how music back then was real -- keep in mind he played with Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald so this man knows what great music is.
I'm glad I met him, and the whole family. It was a fun night.
