They are a big part of me, however i am still curious about them.
One thing is my family in particular, the have this alter ego on how they are to other people and how they are as a family. So i am trying to see them as a whole and learning to love them.
I don't think you should be jealous, family is after all people being with people, and sometimes you are stuck with people you wouldn't want with you. You might not have that kind of link via blood or heritage, but you can have other links with other people that can be as strong or stronger than anything else.
After all, i spent a lot of years hating my family a lot. Including my grandmother, it has cost me a lot to reach a neutral approach to see them in a different light.
