I just got back from an evening with my grandmother and sisters, after my drive back from Austin. I had an awesomely, fantastically, fun time at the SGTexas holiday party down in Austin last night. Everyone I met was great. Thanks to everyone for a great evening. And thanks to mulhollanddrive for introducing me to the peanut butter pie at Magnolia Cafe. It rocked! I took my friend (also known as my ex that I talked about last week in my journal) Mat down to Austin with me. I think I realized that maintaining a friendship with your high school ex-boyfriend doesn't really work out all that well 10 years later. Sometimes people just take different paths, and that's what has seemed to happen to us. Damn this growing up stuff! Oh well, the trip was definitely worth it.
