Hey Hey SG land! Long time, no blog! I really love this blog homework from @rambo @lyxzen and @missy, as my bucket list is something I refresh and cross things off of constantly, so here's the latest edition!
1) Publish memoirs/autobiography. I have had a CrAzY fucking life, and though I've bared all to the world physically, there is only 1 person in the whole world that knows all the details of my insane existence other than myself. I'm in the process of recounting and documenting much of it right now, and hopefully by the end of the year (I don't have a ton of free time to write, and I'm not trying to force anything) I'll have a good outline.
2) Learn another language fluently. I've started learning Spanish and German (Spanish much more than German, but not having people to practice my conversational skills with, I've lost both. I'd like to take time and energy to dedicate to REALLY learning another language.
3) Kiss someone I love in a hot air balloon. I'm not your typical romantic, but this has been my #1 romance fantasy since I started having crushes on people. I love being in the air, I love kissing. That's that.
4) International Travel. It's kind of embarrassing, but I haven't left the USofA yet. I have travelled (and lived) all over in the states, and I can always find more and more to explore here, but I am desperate to experience life and culture elsewhere. Spain is at the top of my list, followed by Australia, the Netherlands, and the UK.
5) Be the front woman in a band, record an album, play some shows. I'm not saying I have to explode and be the next Taylor Swift (please, don't let me ever be compared to Taylor Swift), but I'd like to rock a couple socks off, and maybe one time have someone say "hey, didn't you sing ____?"
6) Open my own Brick & Mortar business. Whether it be a salon or coffee shop or bar or tattoo shop or apothecary, I'd like to have my own little slice of the economy. Running my own modeling/consulting business is one thing (whoa, the 1099's that come wit it) but I do love having the building that goes along with the responsibility.
Things I've crossed off my bucket list:
1) Go Skydiving. The best feeling I've ever felt. I'd free fall forever if I could.
2) Own my own business. I am currently self-employed and have been for the last couple of years. Modeling is a full time job, and so is being a consultant at the tattoo shop, so I keep plenty busy and have learned SO MUCH about all of the adult shit that goes along with being a one-woman business!
3) Be a recognizable entity. I always wanted to be kind of famous. Not Brittany Spears famous, but like, get recognized out-and-about famous. And in my not-too-tiny town, I am certainly that. Everywhere I go. It's equal parts rad and bizarre.
4) Get a bunch of tattoos. I mean... you've seen me naked. This speaks for itself
5) Be independent. This has actually been #1 on my bucket list since as a teen I realized that one day I wouldn't be living with my parents. I would fantasize about having my own teeny, old house with a bunch of weird quirks that add character. I'd daydream about the dog I'd have, and how I'd decorate it according to no ones taste but my own. I'd cook whatever I want, and have taxidermy animals and collect yummy craft beer bottles. I wouldn't have a TV, but I'd have a bitchin record setup. I'd have a guest room that would double as an in-home yoga studio/reading nook. I made that dream come true this year, and I couldn't be happier.
