Hi SG land! I just wanted to share a few non-SG I've been working on lately with you!
First off, here are a few photos from a little woodsy shoot I did with Max Mckenzie (@lyra__ on IG). He was a truly wonderful dude to work with; a fellow space nerd and outdoor enthusiast. The day we shot was PERFECT, and we were both in the woods and on the beach of the Indiana Dunes for about 7 hours. We walked/hiked about 8
miles that day (2 or 3 of which I walked with nothing but boots, underwear and a hoodie)
I recently got my hands on my very first DSLR, and decided to play a bit, so the other little shoot I wanted to share with you is a self-shot series I titled 'Fragments'. I know it's not perfect, but the beauty here for me was that it was all shot stationary with a self-timer in my bed. I love that the focus is on different body parts, and since it was just me shooting I really got to play around with placement and poses. I'm excited to play more with shooting my own images, and eventually other people. Let me know what you think!
Lastly, I'm so excited to have TWO sets coming out in the next 2 weeks. The first, 'Little Golden Books' was shot by @sobelle at Hell City Columbus in April. It comes out in 4 days and 12 hours (but who's counting). I listened to critiques from other sets, and "you should smile more" was the #1 request you all had, so this set is FULL of big, happy smiles!
The second is my multi with my soul sister @firefly, shot by @lady_ called (appropriately) 'So this is Love'. It comes out in 1 week and 1 day!
Keep an eye out for them both, I absolutely cannot WAIT for them to finally be released!
Lastly, I just noticed that an older set of mine has 2400 likes!! That is so amazing. Even though it was shot over 2 years ago, this has always been one of my favorite sets, and I'd still be beyond stoked if it somehow ended up on FP! If you like it, feel free to love on it HERE!
