Meisje is smiling in the mornings...and frowning in the afternoons... she *almost* made a complete laugh today...

and...I replaced a longitudinal on a `62 Porsche 356 today...while the guy who owns it sat there an watched me...I could kill the boss, he said the guy wasn't gonna be there. fucker.

I am currently looking for someone to draw me a monkey holding an acetylene torch with one to three palm trees. at least 8" high and however wide. Each item needs to be separate, i.e. Monkey, Torch, Trees; this is because I'm going to layer everything with different sheets of metal and paint them individually then stick it all together.

The drawing should'nt be life-like...more...

Crazy thought went thru the membrane just now:

It turns out I'm not too bad with a Mig Welder considering I have had no classes and was given a 5 minute lesseon and then told to "have at it, but don't fuck it up" (I was welding on a customers truck). ah man, glad you like the journals. i do it mostly to vent when i need to and it helps somewhat. that, and i watched an episode of that show "Over There" and it pissed me the fuck off how unrealistic deployments are being portrayed to the masses. so the way i figure it, let me do my job out here, and then tell my story if you would like to know what its really like "over there"

and doood, maxims, stuff, and fhm's are a godsend over here. i actually have a subscription to maxim, but my mail gets routed through 2 military camps before i get my hands on it, thus i have yet to recieve a single issue in the mail because the POG mail clerks get to it first and just black out my name and address on the cover with a marker and keep it for themselves. so yeah, i get the bills in the mail for maxims, but no actual maxims.
so.....of course you are by no means obligated to send anything my way, but if you should feel the need to, it would be very awesome of you. maxims and copenhagen long-cut are the only 2 things on this marines christmas list this year.

and word, i feel your pain about the molten steel bit. had a similar experience about a week or two back when the guy next to me shot off a round and the brass ejected right in between my neck and flak jacket. mad

It suddenly occured to me that noone in FEMA has read any of thier own literature.
