Soooo, I spent a large chunk of this weekend in Rhode Island. I really do like it up there, something very down-to-earth about it. And the accents never fail to amuse me. Especially when I am a little tipsy, they keep me giggling to myself. Beirut in the kitchen. Isn't it funny how highschool-age guys always seem to take off their shirts as they get increasingly intoxicated? And besides me, ( and i dont count) there were no girls there. We were quiet in the evenings, but right as we were leaving to go back to UCONN, we started talking about the previous evening and how the boys had kept them up till 330 or so, and Juuuust as the two of us were walking out the door, Mr. M says, "hehehe...we're going to have to get a priest in that room now that you two are out.". At which point, looking around to realize i am the only other one left in the kitchen, i blush a lovely shade of crimson and nervously laugh again. Juuuuust when you think you've gotten away with something...

Other than that, I spent saturday night (11-10am) in the lab (sleeping...sorry baby), and then reverted to a simple schedule of the 3 freudian needs. lalala...i love random off-beat days in bed.

saw the manchurian candidate also this weekend. meryl streep's performance is amazing. couldnt have been any better. the original is the originial, but as far as remakes go, this was pretty fuckin good. Also, had the first decent thai food ive had since leaving charleston. mmmm basils.........
