I've been completely remiss in my SG duties.
I know.
My study of Jungian Theory MIGHT be to blame.
My time spent trying to disprove the Theory of Multiple Intelligences (seriously, bro-sef, there isn't!) could too.
But I have poison ivy.
It kinda sucks.
I don't think I've ever really had poison ivy before, and if I did it was when I was so wee that I don't remember it properly.
Also, changing gears here, not signing in to SG in and of itself creates a conundrum that I'm not sure if any of you have encountered, but, to me, if I don't log in for a while the apprehension I get at the thought of logging in and facing the overwhelming stream of data available keeps me away for another few days, therefore enforcing and strengthening the overwhelming data deluge.
No, I'm not joking.
For once.
Facts are facts.
I sold my wonderful 1990 Jeep Wrangler. Its repairs were way over what I could afford with my disposable income. It was a bittersweet parting but I sold it to a fellow that I work with, whom had the extra capitol to keep her up and running.
Gentlemen, by all means, I think we ought to have an introspective moment of silence for poor ol' Tin Tin.
On the plus side of that, I have a bank account again with positive numbers in it.
I feel like spewing creativity:
Seriously:
I tried watching Wilfred, the FX dark comedy series with Elijah Wood and furry man-dog in it but it did nothing for me
Zero.
But this does it for me, I get all uber "Awwwwwwwwwww" when I see it:
Allow me to revisit some platitudes:

And now, delving into my love of the sentimental side of things, I deliver unto you:
Coffee, muffins, STAT!

I'm sorry for the loss of your jeep. That's a bummer. I know you were diggin it. I am super hideously allergic to poison ivy. I have discovered this stuff called "TECNU" it is a soap that takes the poison ivy oils out of your skin. It was originally developed to wash away radio active particles...true shit. It works best if you catch it right away but it is good to keep it from getting worse too. The same brand also makes a gel to make it stop itching that works awesome as well. Invest in it. Very very worth it. ( should have it at your local drugstore)

I feel that way after being on one of my deployments. Six months of catching up makes me dread tuning back in. I try to minimalize some of that by having people keep me up to date on this place via email.
