T-minus 80 hours until I leave Tampa and relocate to St Louis.
The thoughts speeding about my lizard brain zip by with a ferocious intensity that borders on cracked-out.
Hopeful.
Grateful.
Excited.
Psyched.
Overwhelmed.
Pumped.
These terms are to be immediately and savagely followed by scared, terrified and petrified-damn-near-shitless. See, I have a friend base that is truly staggering here in Tampa. I have contacts. I have networks. I have fall-backs. I have fall-ons. The majority of my social life exists on two wheels. Bicycles and I are inseparable. Polo, road racing, alley cats, mountain biking, urban exploration, you name it and I've probably done it on a bike.
Yes, I did that too.
It was somewhat awkward and a balancing act but ...
Anyway, I thought I'd throw together a culmination of pics taken by my friends during this amazing journey in Florida:
The beginning of it all, Fixed Fight I, Florida's very first alley cat (and co-inky-dinkly, mine too) back in 2005:

Yes, that IS a huge toof in the background. A Sarasota alley cat back in 2008, I forget the name. I cock my leg when I smooch:

Our first month of polo back in late 2008. The local paper was interviewing us but I think this shot was actually by my brother:

Speaking of my brother, he and I chillin' under an overpass drinking beer and screwing off:

A group photo of all of us at the very first All Florida Championships in 2008 Where's Waldo?

Dealing with a mechanical in the All Florida Championships II in 2009. No you can't have my pink argyles:

Me in the middle reppin' Tampa Bike Polo at the All Florida Championships III last year:

Me at Bear Polo II back in February. I think I was yawning.

Me actually scoring AS I fell at some tournament two years ago in St Pete, Florida. Yes, I scored and yes, we won:

Halloween 2009. I didn't wear an outfit. The girls dragged me off and painted me up as Bones, my faithful feline companion. I was sober in this pic. No really I was ... okay, I was piss drunk actually:

Okay, enough wallowing and blabbering about me.
Lets wallow and blabber about my brother whom I love dearly and will miss the most out of anyone in Florida. He's four years my junior and my best friend. We've grown tremendously close in the last decade. I'm still not processing us being apart yet.
Here's a pic of he and I with, surprise, drinks in our hands. In my defense, we were out of the good beer and my Dad only had Bud Light in the house:

Here is an example of his photography skill:

Kid's good.
All my Jeep needs is this:

I'm sorry that this entry isn't silly or witty. I'll do better once I'm relocated and less stressed. Wait. Wait. I can't wimp out like that. Here, I'll give it a shot:

Here's a man close to my heart:

Cute time:

Check THIS out -- SPEAKING OF BESTIES!!

and

And Chewie makes me think of husky:

See what I did there?
If we're on a Star Wars kick, welllllllllllll ...

Okay, I have the urge for cake:

Off to find some. Not sure if I'll update again before I leave so if I don't get a chance, wish me luck.
Or ducks.
I love ducks.
Wish me ducks.
Eye<3ewe,
Scotty

I like Barbie too! Well, she used to be a too 'vanilla' really, but since she's become a touch deranged, I think she's much more fun.
