Posted to the Art Crit board, wanted to update here as well, because it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to think that a few other kids out in cyberland care what I'm up to in my living room-turned-studio.
It was suggested to me that I delve into my process for the backgrounds of a few of my paintings (something about some dude named Rothko *wink*)... So I did.
20x22" Oil on stretched canvas, 1 3/4" deep.
Still working up the layers, but it's at a nice stage right now, so I thought I'd share.

Haha thanks but that would involve moving the webcam from the bedroom to the studio
