I had a great time in San Diego with many adventures including getting lost almost running out of gas, twice. Seems my 10 year old memories of driving directions arent the most reliableand forgeting your cell phone charger is a really bad idea.
As we were driving back from Temecula my brother missed the exit off 15 to 78, so I told him to just take the next one and we'd get gas, simple right. Well the exit had no gas station but it like as if one should be just around the cornor so we drove on. By now were on Del Dios Rd (road of the gods?) and getting further into the hills til we got past the point of no return with the gas situation. The PT Cruiser we rented is now beeping furiously to tell us we need gas. So we finally get to Rancho Santa Fe and this town is Money I mean the least expencive car I see is a Lexus SUV! but still no gas station in sight so I say pull up next to this Range Rover and I'll ask were one is. The lady in the Rover looks at me like Im gonna do horrible shit to her and her family and refuses to roll down her window until she figures out I only need directions. She tell us there's a station on the next block over. Great the gas station besides wanting $2.95 a gallon is CLOSED at 5:45 in the afternoon. I cant beleave it. A sigh near by says Solona Beach 7miles and we decide to chance it. good thing it was mostly down hill. We pulled into the gas station on fumes and vow to take back all the mean things we said about PT Cruisers and never say another bad word about it again.
While Im on the subject of driving why do people in San Diego county refer to freeways by saying "The" before each one "The 15", "The 5" up here we just say 280 or 101 hold the "The"
All in all a great trip who wants to come help me do yard work?

It was really good, thanks! More hot chicks than you can shake a stick at... and believe me, I tried.

Yeah. That's pretty much how it is every time.
