With Pride Month right around the corner (June) I wanted to take a little time to show some love and support for our LGBTQIA2S+ community! As a Queer woman myself I know that we face so many struggles to find places to fit in and feel safe. I know that SG has made a place for us here and I’m so thankful to be out and proud as a Queer, Pansexual, Polyamorous woman. I know that there are many people who still haven’t found the safety in their families, hometowns, or other communities to come out, but that doesn’t make you any less loved or supported by us here. It can be so scary to be vulnerable and share your truth but you have the right to do so in your own time. And you deserve a safe and supportive community to do so. I just want anyone to know- however you identify, whether you’re out or not- that I am here for you, to support you, to hear you, to love you. Just remember that you are not alone, that you are loved and that the world is so much better with you in it. The challenges we have faced as LGBTQIA2S+ have been difficult, we have been fighting for years and despite so much progress being made we continue to fight today for our rights, human rights. So, whether you are a part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, an ally or want to be an ally here are some things you can do to support, protect and uplift our community:
-Share LGBTQIA2S+ people and their stories. Especially Black and Brown people in the community who have done SO much for our community!
-Listen. Hear our stories
-Educate yourself. The Internet is the world at your fingertips. Read blogs, watch TikToks, listen to Podcasts, read books and stories by people from our community.
-Buy from small Queer owned business! Not major brands who only support “Pride Month” once a year. Be sure to do your research to see if those brands even support Queer people or if they’re against us- giving money to politicians and bills that harm us!
-Show some love ❤️ Leave a nice comment on a photo, a set, a story, reel, etc. Having love from another member of the community or an ally can be so uplifting
-Be kind. This is my every day motto but please just be kind to one another. If you don’t have anything nice to say- just don’t say anything at all. Especially online. You truly never know what people are going through and how your words may affect them. Online bullying is not okay. If you see something, say something.
I woke up today and felt so strongly in my heart that this reminder would hopefully reach even just a few people. People from the LGBTQIA2s+ community and hopefully many of those who aren’t in the community, maybe those who are unsure, uneducated- those who have been told horrible things about our community… I hope you read this and kind find a little extra love in your heart, some kindness and empathy for us- we are just normal humans, living normal lives just like you and all we want is the right to live and love ❤️
Thank you to anyone who took the time to read this and to leave some love 💕🌈
Thank you SuicideGirls @missy @eirenne @penny for giving us space on this site to have a safe community
I do have two Pride sets in member review, both of them very special to me and would love for you to give them a look and maybe a like!
The first is “Camp Pride” which was my first ever self set shot for the site. I was so excited to put this set together and spent hours in my backyard shooting it in the dirt 😂 I dedicated the set to all of my friends, fans and followers for their support and love.
The second set is “Born This Way” and was shot by one of my SG besties, the beautiful @niffler I love this set so much because it really shows off ME. My fuzzy slippers I wear every day (my OnlyFans people see them a lot haha) and my favorite coffee mug and of course my rainbow haired troll tattoo! I am so grateful for SG and being able to express myself in creative, artistic and sexy ways!
Please check out my pride sets and all of the other pride sets on the site! ❤️
With love and gratitude 💕🌈 Zen
