RE-Friended de-friended friend. Weird. Had a long conversation, all went well. Strange how depression works.
Anyway, school. Lots of printmaking and drawing. Getting lots of comments from advanced students who appear to be shocked that I am not an advanced student as my work and knowledge seems more advanced than some of them. But I am humble. I am just doing the best I can. I point out their skill level over mine, ask questions get them feeling equal or greater again. I love learning. Printmaking in particular is so much fucking fun, even if exceptionally messy and seemingly environmentally unfriendly.
As soon as the semester is over I am going to start working on a short collaborative experimental fiction piece with my friends. We each wrote one page of unrelated storyline. We then each get a copy of the text to create a short 3 page something, as a cutup, mashup, manipulated edit. I've really enjoyed writing with these friends in the past, this should be fun.
And, I am planning out an image series to work on this summer. "TIME-BIRTH-DEATH Gimmick" (a briefly reflected idea by Williams S. Burroughs. Brilliant, that man, was.)
I really don;t know why I am writing this. I haven't been spreading the love on SG much. I haven't made any new friends. I can't seem to get anyone to comment on the comments I leave in articles and other shit. I need to meet some more pre-accepted SG hopefulls. They seem to try harder.
Anyway, if you read this. Hey. I hope you are well.
