Another week and weekend past, and once again I've accomplished nothing. But hey, midterms are done, so I can continue not stressing out or generally caring, and continue my uninterrupted routine. The monotony is killing me. It may just be because I'm not the happiest I've ever been, but shit life is boring right now. Feeling like I need to find someone to fill the void in my heart.
On a completely different note, government agencies are fucking ridiculous! Honestly, how hard can it be to facilitate and follow through with the sole task the agency was created to perform? I scheduled a motorcycle ride test with the DMV for Saturday. The test is downtown in the parking lot for the municipal court. It is the only location within 90 miles where the tests are held. So I (along with many others) show up at the designated place and time ready to take the test. Its 35*F outside. Finally the test proctor from the DMV shows up ten minutes late, sees that there is a car parked in the middle of the parking lot, blocking part of the test course, and tells us all that the test will be canceled and we will need to reschedule. So I ask why he doesn't just have the car towed. Apparently despite the fact that this is a common occurrence (it happened the week before as well), they do not see the need to put up signs prohibiting parking on weekends, so there is no legal ground on which to have vehicles towed. You think they could figure this one out.
