This is my first update in a good long while. I'm done with exams and I've flown home to Zimbabwe for the first time in a year and a half. Seeing my parents again is weird but nice. Its definitely a nice feeling being fussed over
A lot has changed in Zimbabwe, we use the US dollar now instead of our own currency so it's a bit weird walking through the shops that were nearly empty a year ago and seeing food and stuff again. Most heartening of all is the fact that stuff actually seems affordable again. My parents are paying approximately what I would be paying in Australia for food so the prices are not being inflated beyond any recognition.
Exams really took it out of me. Its been about a week now and I'm still having nightmares about failing or missing my exams. God knows why since my exams ended a week ago but I know I won't be able to relax until I get my results, pass or fail I don't care I just want to know.
I'm also playing babysitter to my sisters dog Spike who broke her leg after falling out of a car...Shes a very sweet , if dim, dog. As I type this shes chewing on my foot.
With any luck the power won't cut out again and I'll be able to post some pictures later. Hello to all my friends here and I'm sorry for neglecting the blog for so long
