Aaaah... The last dictatorship in Europe according to the Americans.
My Grandmother went there on holidays in the mid-80's. She brought me back some colouring pencils which were too soft to colour with. The leads were snapped all the way through so they wouldn't sharpen either.
They do the most fantastic lavender ice cream by all accounts. I wonder if Mr Whippy was an East European (or a dictator)????

I think her old boy is the one in need of counciling.
I've heard of roleplaying by getting your wife to dress in her school uniform, but making her dress in your uniform then perform in front of literally tens of people over the years is a real perverts idea of fun!
And to think they were employed by the BBC...it makes you wonder.

All three of those films are definitely creepy!
I love the exorcist especially....
I'm a huge fan of Ellen Burstyn and i was so disappointed she didn't get the oscar that time for "Requiem for a dream".
She broke my heart in that one.
As for Woody Allen, i do like a handful of his films, but i'm not a huge fan.
Some of his stuff is a little overrated...
just my opinion though.
However, i really enjoyed "Bullets...."
That cast seemed to just really play well off each other.
Have a great weekend!

I've never heard of "Howls moving castle"...you have managed to stump me, so now of course i will have to look this one up
I know what you mean about Cronenberg being his best when he is a little rough around the edges. What did you think of "Spider"?
I actually think Cronenberg is a pretty decent actor as well, though the few films i've seen him in, he just played a killer....but i loved his five minute cameo as a hit man in "To die for"

I bought the best of The Style Council last week.
There are plenty of places on that CD where it started to go wrong for Paul Weller.

Maybe. Or maybe we shouldn't be stuck in the same crap all the time, change is a good thing... change of scenery. After a few weeks.. I wanna.. do something else. Damn it.
severus:
Me too. Very easily. That's a problem in a world that seems to be all about being trapped, bored and like it.

Sorry about my ignorance regarding the Tate Modern.... i don't go to nearly enough museums or art galleries.
We have a beautiful one here in my ugly city, i went there last year for the first time in twenty years after hearing about an art exhibit where everything was made out of recycable trash
It was pretty amazing though!
I was exposed to a lot more art and culture when i lived in manhattan (obviously right?)
