Well in a little more than 12 hours I will be introducing myself to my first class of 9th graders (then doing it over five more times
) I am both excited and anxious.
I am sorry to all for not replying or posting as I should but time just seems so low. Between readying my class and lessons I am not even sure when the week (and weekend) went. However, I feel certain that after the first week I will get my schedule down and find my life somewhere.
It is also hard to believe that my little one will start school this year. I swear I was just pregnant with her and now she is all siked about starting school. (Okay it is only 3 year olds class but it is still a land mark in her life.) The oldest is not as worked up as I expected him to be (but I really think that he is just putting on a good show for sister as he keeps telling her what she needs to do at school.)
Anyhow, for those that are starting school in the next few weeks, good luck!!

I am SOoooOOooOOoOOOoo Very happy for you! And so Damned proud to actually be able to say that I know one of the most important people that I believe this world has left to offer...A Teacher.
(And 9th Graders Nonetheless! Man! Did I ever tell you I lost it to a Ninth grader when I was in 12? LOL!)

And the little one is goin into the system, huh? well, the good thing is that you KNOW what is up with his education...I mean, THAT has to be a definate advantage, right? (and we know he will at least have an Excellent Teacher when he hits Grade Nine!)
