As I awake to one glorious sunbeam it all becomes clear
that there is absolutely nothing to fear and nothing is as it seems
I walk a path that twists and turns
I look ahead into infinity all the while my focus burns
With a gaze so intent I fail to see the crack in the path that just tripped me
As I sit on the ground dazed and confused I glance back and want to flee
For looking back brings amazing clarity
I see all that has been and with it safety
Resisting the urge to turn around I get the idea to glance down
At this very moment I see the beam and it all becomes clear
Infront is forever and behind will never again be
But in this perfect moment I can always show poise and be me
So I begin to stand with an intense feeling of exultation
Only to hear the worlds biggest fucking aggrevation
That damned alarm always gets me
But as I open my eyes I awake to see one glorius sunbeam
So smiling I arise to face the unkown
Forever grateful for the day that the sunbeam shown.
