Not sure what all to say today, but I do have pictures! Had Samantha this weekend, and in two weeks I get her for easter! Not a big religious holiday fan, but I'll take whatever kid fun days I can get. Some pictures below of her while we were shopping for an easter basket.
Saturday would have been my soulmates birthday. There was a remembrance get together at her moms house, and overall it was good. her little one, my little one, and two of her friends little ones, along with her nieces and nephews. It helps having young ones running around playing and laughing when the mood might otherwise be sad. So I had a good weekend, Saturday actually was a great day. My kiddo was in a great mood, playing games, and laughing, and running around all day. I haven't seen her so happy in a couple months, I think being stuck inside was getting to her. Then sunday was the nicest day so far this year, it was 84 degrees! CRAZY! so we went for a walk, she pulled her hot rod wagon that one of my buddys put together for her, and she had a ball. So did I. I only wish I had a fellow adult to share it with. Even my best friend can't keep track of when my kiddo is in town. He texted me friday to see if I wanted to go see a movie, forgetting I had to go pick Samantha up. He felt bad, and made fun of himself, but honestly, its the third of fourth time he's done it, its getting rather annoying. I love the guy like a brother, we've been friends for over 21 years, met in the second grade, but really, its every other weekend, not hard to remember, even if you hardly care. bah, oh well. we'll get our shit together, and have a fun summer. That weather on sunday got me all excited for the summer, Glad I'm back on this side of the state, where the boat is, and the lakes are nearby. Couple more months, and we'll be in the water. Yay!
