Yesterday was the most perfect day ever.
My roommate and I put the roommate drama between us two and the third roommate to an end. We informed her that we were moving out september 1st and that was that. She took it really well, which kind of leads us to believe she has something else going on and was driving us out, but whatever. It's over. That alone put a happier note to my day.
Then I went to work. Whatever. Work was work. Some pretty girls came in, I made some tips, no one threatened to kill me over foam and it was over quicker then usual since I was only covering the first half of someone's shift.
After work I went and rented the Bell Jar, then went back to work to just chat with my coworkers. We noted that it felt like it was going to rain soon, which excited me since I adore the rain.
I start walking home, listening to Tegan and Sara on my discman and I start feeling the drops. Immediatly a huge smile came over my face and I decided, that even though I still had a good 25 minutes left of my journey and I didn't have a jacket or an umbrella, I was going to walk home anyways.
It stormed.
By the time I got home I looked like a drowned rat and was 8 million different kinds of happy. I then made some soup and laid on the couch watching my kitten play.
Later I went to an internet cafe and talked to LTrain and Madigan for awhile, then went home to watch the movie (or actually I did that in the reverse order, I'm just too lazy to switch it).
As far as the Bell Jar movie goes, I think that they made a lot of bad choices but still was a good movie for being one of those super old made in the 60's type movies. I was really impressed with how they managed to integrate a bunch of lines from Slyvia's poetry in the movie, I think that alone made it for me.
After a couple weeks of drama and crying to my mom, I needed a day like yesterday.
