At work: My manager sat me down for my annual review. I exceed expectations. In previous years I've only managed to meet expectations. I don't recall doing anything differently this past year. Maybe my manager is finally realizing what a good employee I am. Perhapes all of the other employees have been performing their job so poorly they're making my job performance look good in comparison. It's likely a combination of the two.
