Hey everyone,
Well this is it. I have finally had it with the roommates. I plugged my trusty old lava lamp into the wall and put it on my computer desk and one of these bastards saw it and said, "you're kinda relaxing on us and gettin' into the hippie thing!"
I said, "that's not a hippy thing."
"Well don't hippies have those things?"
My other roommate chimed in, "well it's more of an Austin Powers thing, but the hippies ruined it." WTF?
Mind you, these guys are indoctrinated by Fox News and right wing talk radio. There's not an original thought in their heads, just sound bites from Limbaugh and Hannity.
Now I know that this really isn't much, but if you add up that I have been with these little boys in 30+ year old bodies for seven months and hear crap like this almost every day, you'd be at the end of your rope with garbage like this too.
I was told I was a sick bastard because I wanted to see The Devil's Rejects and Land of the Dead.
I was told that with the music I listen to and the movies I watch, I would only be able to get goth chicks. Well maybe I like goth chicks damnit.
I was told that I don't get out much because I don't frequent the restaurants they do, or see too many new movies. The reason is I know how to fix food in the kitchen and I don't like a lot of the new movies.
I don't have a car and I'm still waiting for my learner's permit to show up because living in New York for so long, I didn't need a license or a car, and coming back to Dallas, I just used the busses they have there. So I have been ridiculed for that.
My cat Divine stays in my room most of the time (against her will) because on of my roommates tried to "joke" around by saying, "gee there's nothing to do except molest the cat." I had another one say that my cat is expendable. Don't you ever say anything like that to me again!
I spent a lot of my time in my room knocking out pin-up drawings several months ago so I was, therefore, "hiding out."
All Michael Moore films I have must be hidden behind my HDTV so they never find them, because they are right wing zombies.
I don't know shit about comic books or video games or Dungeons & Dragons, because that's not my thing. So I am talked down to because I don't know this stuff.
I don't watch action movies or any of the films they watch so I get ridiculed for not having seen these films. I like Star Wars (but it's not my life) but I don't get into it like they do because, oh I don't know.......hmmm....I grew up and found other things to do. I still like Star Wars, and I'm not knocking it, but I'm not obsessed by it.
So I have either one of two options. Either stick it out until next spring or summer, get my car and get out. or find another place to stay, get the car then move on with my life.
I'm not going to jump the gun and get into another situation like this again, so I just need to cool off and think things over very carefully.
Saturday, mom and dad are coming over and I'm leaving my cat with them for safety reasons.
Other than that, it is such a beautiful day outside and the cool air smells so clean, I love it. I am working on a new pin-up, and it's of Palo. I'll post what I have probably next Monday.
OK, I'm through with my ranting and I will try not to do this again. I just needed to get this out of my system. So, everybody please have a good weekend and take care. I'll be OK, believe me. Just have to think things over.

i would love to come over and slap them around. if you need to get out my parents own alot of property. my husband and i live in an aprtment that they own and one of the other units are emtpy. we live close to lower greenville. so if you are interested please let me know. good luck.
